    In this paper, flotation performance of copper and cobalt was linked to fundamental mineralogical data obtained from a standardized flotation batch experiment. The flotation kinetics of copper and cobalt was well fitted by a first-order rectangular distribution model, delivering flotation performance indexes obtained from experimental data.
